Ø      Different types of Thinners are utilized depending upon the type of paint used. Thinners have very low viscosity & they are used for thinning of paints, such that the “paint application process” becomes easier. The amount & type of the thinner to be used is mentioned in the product catalog.

Before the application of paint, Solvents are used for removing grease & dirt from the work piece. This ensures proper adhesion between the paint & the work piece.

 

Caution :            Thinners & Solvents should be kept away from any form of fire, spark & excessive temperatures.
